The Secret Garden is my favorite place to take photographs in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is not a wat temple, jungle paradise of tourist attraction. The garden is simply family run business that replicates many of the world's most famous Buddhism, Hinduism and other Asian icons with great precision. Then they faux age the terracotta sculptures and reliefs in an outdoor setting to encourage moss growth and the elements to wear on the thousands of pieces of art replicas they create. To have so many aging icons and broken works piled into a place less than 1/2 a city block all in a shade covered lot filled with twisted trees and an old garden wall open for the strolling creates a photographic wonderland.
